Architecting and building a one-of-a-kind solution supporting Leo Burnett’s innovative campaign for Amnesty International. Solution included a downloadable WordPress plug-in, Ruby on Rails backend with admin console for Leo Burnett as well as integration with a database of online petitions managed by Amnesty International. Captcha was designed to serve summaries of Amnesty International petitions and collect signatures instead of arbitrary challenges (this was still enabled as an alternative).
We were looking for someone to take on a fairly complex concept that involved premium SMS and Facebook integration. Based on what I’ve heard from several other software houses I was bracing myself for implementation nightmare. We were lucky to be working with Beside the Park. Our design and entire backend infrastructure was implemented flawlessly, on time and within the budget. I liked how from the very beginning they’ve centered all discussions on what we need versus telling us why something cannot be done. Our client was delighted.
